Metro Kingdom Power Moon Guide: All 81 Moons
Use this as a full New Donk City checklist. Every moon card gives the core location, the required action and a practical tip for routing through the city without missing vertical or interior moons.
Power Moon #1 – New Donk City’s Pest Problem
- This is the story Multi Moon for clearing the storm over New Donk City, so start by following the main objective toward New Donk City Hall.
- Climb the city hall route until you reach the Mechawiggler fight. Capture the nearby Sherm tank when the arena asks for it, then aim carefully at the glowing sections of Mechawiggler as it crawls over the building.
- After each hit, keep moving so the electric attacks do not pin you in place. When every weak segment has been destroyed, the boss drops the Multi Moon automatically.
Power Moon #2 – Drummer on Board!
- After the city is restored, speak with Mayor Pauline near New Donk City Hall Plaza to begin the musician search for the festival.
- The drummer is the easiest musician to spot: he stands in the plaza area close to City Hall, just off the main open space.
- Talk to him and confirm that he should join the festival band. The Power Moon appears immediately after the short conversation.
Power Moon #3 – Guitarist on Board!
- Keep the festival musician objective active, then head toward the park near the Main Street Entrance side of New Donk City.
- Look for the guitarist playing near the trees and benches rather than on a rooftop. If you are still near City Hall, follow the streets down toward the greener park area.
- Talk to the guitarist and recruit him for the band. You receive the Moon as soon as he agrees to join.
Power Moon #4 – Bassist on Board!
- From the City Hall side of Metro Kingdom, make your way to Mayor Pauline Commemorative Park on the rooftop east of the main tower.
- The bassist is standing in the park beside a tree and railing. If you are below street level, use the nearby power lines, platforms, or building route to reach the rooftop garden.
- Speak with the bassist and send him to the festival band. The Moon is awarded immediately after the recruitment dialogue.
Power Moon #5 – Trumpeter on Board!
- The trumpeter is on top of a triangular building across from New Donk City Hall, so look up from the plaza and plan a rooftop route instead of searching at street level.
- Use the nearby buildings, girders, and power-line connections to climb across the city until you can land on the narrow rooftop where the trumpeter is waiting.
- Talk to the trumpeter to recruit him for the festival. The Power Moon appears right after he joins the band.
Power Moon #6 – Powering Up the Station
- Use the manhole entrance that leads down toward the New Donk City power station. This objective appears while the city is still being restored, before the festival can begin.
- Follow the underground route through the power plant platforms. Watch the poison patches and keep your jumps controlled, because falling usually means climbing back through the same room.
- In the final room, defeat both Big Poison Piranha Plants by clearing their poison and attacking them when they are vulnerable. Once both are gone, the Power Moon appears in the station.
Power Moon #7 – A Traditional Festival!
- After the musicians are recruited and the power station is fixed, return to Mayor Pauline and start the New Donk City Festival.
- Run through the festival route from the stage into the 2D city section. Keep moving upward through the coins, barrels and platforming rooms until the route brings you back to the main stage.
- At the end of the celebration, talk to Pauline on stage to receive the story Multi Moon for completing the festival.
Power Moon #8 – Inside an Iron Girder
- Head to the western rooftop/girder side of New Donk City and look for the iron girder entrance connected to the pink construction platforms.
- Break or clear the entrance if it is blocked, then enter the girder passage instead of staying on the outside rooftop route.
- Move through the inside of the girder to the far end. The Power Moon is waiting inside the structure, so keep following the narrow path until it opens up.
Power Moon #9 – Swaying in the Breeze
- Warp to or climb toward the Heliport area, then look for the pink girder section with a suspended swinging platform.
- Cross the nearby girder route carefully and wait for the platform to swing close enough before jumping. Do not rush the jump while the platform is moving away from you.
- Land on the swinging platform and grab the Power Moon floating above it. If you miss, return to the fixed girder and wait for the next swing cycle.
Power Moon #10 – Girder Sandwich
- Find the door on the rooftop near the construction girders on the eastern side of New Donk City.
- Inside the girder area, drop into the narrow space between the metal beams and use wall jumps to climb upward between them.
- Keep bouncing between the two walls until you reach the Moon tucked above the gap. The reward appears as soon as you touch it between the girders.
Power Moon #11 – Glittering Above the Pool
- Start from New Donk City Hall Rooftop and look west for the building with a rooftop pool.
- Long jump or glide down from the City Hall side so you land on the pool building. If you land too low, climb back up and aim for the roof deck beside the water.
- Use the umbrella beside the pool to bounce high enough to reach the Power Moon floating above the water.
Power Moon #12 – Dizzying Heights
- Climb to the top area of New Donk City Hall. The route uses the tall exterior tower section, so keep moving upward instead of dropping back to the rooftop pool.
- Use the pole near the top to climb higher, then rotate the camera so you can see the Moon above the city.
- Jump from the pole/top ledge toward the Power Moon and collect it in midair before returning to the roof route.
Power Moon #13 – Secret Girder Tunnel!
- Go to the pink construction girder area near the Odyssey side of Metro Kingdom.
- Look for a small opening in the side of the girder structure. It is easy to miss because it blends into the metal framework.
- Enter the tunnel and follow it inward until you reach the Power Moon hidden inside the girder.
Power Moon #14 – Who Piled Garbage on This?
- From Main Street Entrance, climb toward the rooftops west of the checkpoint using the nearby poles, platforms, or spark pylon route.
- Search the rooftop corner for a pile of garbage with a suspicious glowing spot underneath it.
- Ground pound the marked spot beneath the trash pile to uncover the Power Moon.
Power Moon #15 – Hidden in the Scrap
- Return to Mayor Pauline Commemorative Park after the Mechawiggler story fight has been cleared.
- Find the broken Mechawiggler scrap lying in the grass near the park railing and tree.
- Ground pound the scrap piece to reveal the hidden Power Moon.
Power Moon #16 – Left at the Cafe?
- Go to the Outdoor Cafe area, then work down to the lower rooftop below the rooftop pool route.
- Look for the cafe patio with tables and a group of birds gathered around the suspicious spot.
- Ground pound in the middle of the bird cluster to reveal the hidden Power Moon.
Power Moon #17 – Caught Hopping on a Building!
- Climb to the Rooftop Garden area where the rabbit is hopping around the grass.
- Chase the rabbit toward the edge or a corner so it has less room to dodge.
- Hit or catch the rabbit with Mario or Cappy to make it drop the Power Moon.
Power Moon #18 – How Do They Take Out the Trash?
- Start from New Donk City Hall Rooftop and look east for the high iron-girder platform with a dumpster on it.
- Long jump from the City Hall rooftop toward the girder platform. Aim for the wide top surface, not the thin edge.
- Throw Cappy at the dumpster to open it and reveal the Power Moon inside.
Power Moon #19 – Metro Kingdom Timer Challenge 1
- Find the scarecrow on the western side rooftop route and throw Cappy onto it to start the timer.
- Use the temporary seesaw platforms as soon as they appear. Keep your jumps centered so the moving pieces do not throw you off rhythm.
- Reach the final platform before the timer ends and grab the Power Moon above the route.
Power Moon #20 – Metro Kingdom Timer Challenge 2
- Reach the high New Donk City Hall rooftop area with the motor scooter and P Switch.
- Mount the scooter, drive over the P Switch, and follow the temporary checkered path as it appears.
- Collect the key at the end of the route, then keep driving to the keyhole pedestal before the timer expires to claim the Power Moon.
Power Moon #21 – City Gardening: Building Planter
- Pick up one of the loose seeds in the park near the Main Street Entrance checkpoint.
- Carry the seed west through the city and climb the nearby building with the green exterior stairs.
- Throw the seed into the rooftop planter, leave it planted, then return after it blooms to collect the Power Moon.
Power Moon #22 – City Gardening: Plaza Planter
- Take a seed from the park area near Main Street Entrance.
- Stay inside the plaza and look for the planter along the park edge instead of carrying the seed onto a rooftop.
- Plant the seed in the plaza planter and return once the flower has fully grown to claim the Power Moon.
Power Moon #23 – City Gardening: Rooftop Planter
- Grab a seed from the park and carry it carefully through the nearby city streets.
- Use the building route beside the street to reach the rooftop planter; avoid throwing the seed too early or it can fall back down.
- Plant the seed on the rooftop, continue other cleanup while it grows, then return to the same rooftop and collect the Power Moon from the flower.
Power Moon #24 – How You Doin’, Captain Toad?
- Climb to the high iron girder area above the north side of New Donk City.
- Look for Captain Toad standing on the red beam with the city skyline behind him.
- Talk to Captain Toad and he will hand over this Power Moon immediately.
Power Moon #25 – Free Parking: Rooftop Hop
- Find the motor scooter on the street near the park and ride it toward the rooftop route.
- Use the scooter to hop across the narrow rooftop path until you reach the marked parking area.
- Stop beside the rooftop parking meter and speak with the attendant to receive the Power Moon.
Power Moon #26 – Bench Friends
- Find the man sitting alone on a bench along the quieter street near the green trash can.
- Stand next to the open spot on the bench and press the interact prompt to sit down.
- Stay seated for the short conversation and the NPC will reward you with the Power Moon.
Power Moon #27 – Shopping in New Donk City
- Go inside the Crazy Cap shop in New Donk City.
- Talk to the yellow counter clerk, not the purple regional-coin counter.
- Purchase the Power Moon for 100 gold coins to add it to your Metro Kingdom list.
Power Moon #28 – Metro Kingdom Slots
- Enter the Metro Kingdom Slots room and stand in front of the four slot machines.
- Watch the symbol timing and throw Cappy as each moon symbol reaches the front row.
- Line up all four moon symbols to spawn the Power Moon in the room.
Power Moon #29 – Jump-Rope Hero
- Go to the jump rope challenge in the plaza near the two New Donkers swinging the rope.
- Step into the rope and jump with a steady rhythm as the counter rises.
- Reach 30 jumps without missing to earn the Jump-Rope Hero Power Moon.
Power Moon #30 – Jump-Rope Genius
- Return to the jump rope challenge after earning Jump-Rope Hero.
- Stay in the rope and keep jumping as the speed increases; focus on the rope rhythm rather than Mario’s landing animation.
- Reach 100 jumps in one run to receive the Jump-Rope Genius Power Moon.
Power Moon #31 – Remotely Captured Car
- Find the outdoor RC car course in New Donk City and capture the small car with Cappy.
- Drive through the course carefully; wide turns are safer than trying to cut every corner.
- Finish the lap successfully to make the Power Moon appear at the course area.
Power Moon #32 – RC Car Pro!
- Enter the indoor RC car challenge room near the outdoor course.
- Capture the RC car and drive a clean lap, slowing slightly before the tight turns.
- Beat the target time to receive the RC Car Pro Power Moon.
Power Moon #33 – Taking Notes: In the Private Room
- Enter the private note room and touch the glowing note to start the challenge.
- Move through the note trail in one smooth route, using the room layout to avoid backtracking.
- Collect every note before the timer ends to spawn the Power Moon.
Power Moon #34 – City Hall Lost & Found
- Use the side route around New Donk City Hall to enter the Lost and Found area.
- Climb the interior wall section, staying close to the safe ledges as you move upward.
- Reach the hidden reward spot at the end of the route to collect the Power Moon.
Power Moon #35 – Sewer Treasure
- Enter the sewer route below New Donk City and move through the lower platforming section.
- Watch for the side platform path instead of rushing straight to the exit.
- Reach the hidden sewer platform and grab the Power Moon waiting there.
Power Moon #36 – Celebrating in the Streets!
- Start the New Donk City Festival route after restoring the city and speaking with Pauline.
- Move through the 2D festival path, using the classic platforming sections to climb through the celebration route.
- When the Power Moon appears along the route, collect it before continuing to the final performance area.
Power Moon #37 – Pushing Through the Crowd
- Enter the festival route and continue until the path narrows into a crowded street section.
- Push through the New Donkers without turning back; keep following the line of coins and safe gaps forward.
- Grab the Power Moon at the end of the crowd path before moving on to the next festival section.
Power Moon #38 – High Over the Crowd
- During the festival route, watch for the upper metal platform above the crowd section.
- Use the nearby platforms and girders to climb above the main crowd path instead of staying low.
- Move across the grating and collect the Power Moon waiting above the street.
Power Moon #39 – Rewiring the Neighborhood
- Reach the rooftop area with the electric wire route and the water tower landmark.
- Capture the spark pylon and ride the wire path between rooftops, staying on the intended route as it bends around the buildings.
- Follow the full wire chain to the isolated rooftop and collect the Power Moon near the green pipe.
Power Moon #40 – Off the Beaten Wire
- Start the same rooftop wire route used for Rewiring the Neighborhood.
- Instead of staying on the main path the whole way, watch for the side rooftop where you can break away from the wire route.
- Land on the off-path rooftop and collect the hidden Power Moon there.
Power Moon #41 – Moon Shards Under Siege
- From the New Donk City street level, look for the glowing yellow taxi and capture it with Cappy to leave for the hidden siege room.
- Inside the room, capture a Sherm and use it as your main tool. Drive carefully across the metal platforms and shoot any breakable crates or enemies that block your route.
- Collect all five Moon Shards around the arena. Sweep the lower platform first, then check the raised ledges and the far side near the buildings before leaving the Sherm route.
- After the fifth shard is collected, the Power Moon appears in the room. Drive or walk back to the reward platform and grab it before exiting.
Power Moon #42 – Sharpshooting Under Siege
- Enter the same hidden taxi room used for Power Moon #41, then capture a Sherm as soon as you reach the siege arena.
- Instead of only following the Moon Shards, aim up toward the metal structure and look for the breakable metal box sitting away from the main path.
- Line up the Sherm cannon carefully and fire until the box breaks. Move the Sherm if the angle is blocked by a girder or building edge.
- Once the box is destroyed, collect the Power Moon that appears nearby.
Power Moon #43 – Inside the Rotating Maze
- Find the manhole cover on the street near the Crazy Cap side of New Donk City and capture it to reveal the hidden entrance below.
- Drop into the rotating maze and move with the turning yellow platforms instead of rushing across them. The shards are placed along the inner paths and corners of the maze.
- Work from one side of the maze to the other, using the rotations to reach shards that are briefly blocked or lifted out of reach.
- After collecting all five Moon Shards, return to the center reward point and pick up the Power Moon.
Power Moon #44 – Outside the Rotating Maze
- Enter the rotating maze through the same manhole used for Power Moon #43.
- Climb onto the upper/outside edge of the rotating structure instead of staying only inside the maze lanes.
- Use the maze rotation to reach the exterior side platform. Move slowly at the edge so you do not slide back into the inner route.
- Follow the outside ledge to the hidden Power Moon and collect it before returning to the exit.
Power Moon #45 – Hanging from a High-Rise
- Use the pipe and rooftop route connected to the hidden city challenge, then capture the Mini Rocket on the rooftop to launch into the high-rise course.
- In the challenge area, jump to the first swinging bar and wait until Mario has enough forward momentum before releasing.
- Continue bar by bar across the exterior of the building. If a swing feels short, hold the bar for another cycle instead of forcing the jump early.
- Reach the final platform and collect the Power Moon at the end of the route.
Power Moon #46 – Vaulting up a High-Rise
- Go to the rooftop Mini Rocket used for the high-rise challenge and capture it to launch into the sky course.
- Move through the early section until you reach the swinging-bar route. When the course gives you a chance to keep climbing, stay on the bar path instead of dropping down too early.
- Build momentum on each swing, then release toward the next bar or platform only when Mario is moving forward.
- Follow the higher route to the end and collect the Power Moon above the high-rise section.
Power Moon #47 – Bullet Billding
- On the street before City Hall, enter the side alley and use the door there to reach the construction-room challenge.
- Climb the first beams to reach the upper route. Take your time on the narrow girders because the fog and moving hazards make the jumps harder to read.
- Capture or ride the Bullet Bill route where the course requires it, using the Bill to cross gaps that Mario cannot clear alone.
- Keep following the high construction path until you reach the reward platform with the Power Moon.
Power Moon #48 – One Man's Trash…
- Enter the alley challenge near City Hall, the same interior area used for Power Moon #47.
- Progress until you can use a Bullet Bill. Instead of only heading straight for the exit, look for the breakable trash/box target off the main construction route.
- Capture or guide the Bullet Bill into the target to destroy it. If you miss, wait for another Bullet Bill and line up from a safer angle.
- Collect the hidden Power Moon that appears after the target breaks.
Power Moon #49 – Motor Scooter: Escape!
- Head southwest from City Hall and enter the open door that leads into the scooter escape challenge.
- Get on the motor scooter immediately and accelerate down the alley before the T-Rex catches up.
- Stay centered through the narrow route, dodge debris, and use jumps only when the course clearly places crates or gaps in your path.
- Reach the end of the escape sequence and collect the Power Moon on the main route.
Power Moon #50 – Big Jump: Escape!
- Enter the scooter escape challenge southwest of City Hall and start riding as you would for Power Moon #49.
- About halfway through the chase, watch for the jump setup that lets the scooter launch higher than the normal route.
- Line up with the crate/ramp path and jump from it cleanly. Do not veer too far left or right, because the T-Rex pressure makes it easy to miss the hidden route.
- Grab the extra Power Moon on the big-jump path, then continue the escape sequence to finish the room.
Power Moon #51 – Secret Path to New Donk City!
This moon can be found on the Isolated Rooftop in the south-eastern corner of the kingdom. To reach it, you must travel through a painting located in a different kingdom:
In the Sand Kingdom, you should look for the painting located on a tall stone pillar where the "On the Lone Pillar" moon (Sand Kingdom) is located.
Power Moon #52 – A Tourist in the Metro Kingdom!
After restoring the Sand Kingdom, you should locate the Desert Wanderer at the Tostarena Town. Mario must talk to the Tostarenan, who states that he wants to go to the Metro Kingdom. Mario can later talk to him near the entrance of New Donk City, and after talking to him there, he awards Mario with a moon.
Power Moon #53 – Found with Metro Kingdom Art
On the triangular-shaped building where the trumpeter was found, you should look for the Hint Art located on a slightly lower ledge facing the City Hall. The Hint Art shows Poochy next to a glowing spot located at the Water Plaza in the Lake Kingdom. If Mario travels to the Lake Kingdom and ground pounds the spot shown by the Hint Art, he will be rewarded with a moon.
Power Moon #54 – Bird Traveling in the City
This bird holding the moon travels around the east side of the city. Mario can jump off certain buildings, street lights, or taxis in order to catch the bird and reveal the moon.
Power Moon #55 – Mario Signs His Name
Letters of Mario's name are scattered around northern Squawks Park. In order to obtain this moon, Mario must capture each of the letters and insert them into the nearby plinths. When all the letters are aligned in the right order, a moon appears in front of the letters.
Power Moon #56 – Surprise Clown!
At the very northwest corner of New Donk City proper, Mario can find a New Donker. If Mario talks to the New Donker, he says he could really use a laugh. Mario has to show up to him wearing the Clown Suit and Clown Hat to make him laugh. He will then give Mario a moon as a thanks.
Power Moon #57 – A Request from the Mayor
Mario can talk to Mayor Pauline, who will ask him questions about herself so he can learn more about her. After getting four questions in a row right, she tells Mario that it's her birthday today, and would appreciate a gift. Mario must find a new handbag located on a metal platform east of New Donk City Hall. After presenting Pauline the handbag, she gladly gives Mario a moon in return.
Power Moon #58 – Jammin' in the Metro Kingdom
At Southern Squawks Park, Mario can find a Toad listening to music. If Mario talks to the Toad, he will request that you play a specific piece of music related to the theme of "revving a tiny engine". Only the "RC Car" (#80) music will earn you a moon.
Power Moon #59 – Sphynx in the City
You can capture the binoculars in southern Cranky Avenue and look northwest to find the Sphynx sailing across the sky. Upon doing so, the moon will land on east Squawks Park.
Power Moon #60 – Free Parking: Leap of Faith
A New Donker has started another scooter parking service atop the building at the intersection of Cranky Avenue and northern Squawks Park Street. To use his service and obtain the moon, Mario must find the scooter at the top of New Donk City Hall, mount it, then jump all the way down to the eastern buildings to get to the parking space. The parking space is near the Green Koopa Troopa racer who hosts the Koopa Freerunning race for this kingdom.
Power Moon #61 – Metro Kingdom Regular Cup
Atop an eastern building near the "Free Parking: Leap of Faith" moon, you can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a moon.
Power Moon #62 – Hat-and-Seek: In the City
A Bonneter on the intersection of Cranky Avenue and southern Squawks Park Street says two of his friends wandered off. One of them is in New Donk City proper, riding on the head of a man who walks along the sidewalks of eastern Cranky Avenue and northern Squawks Park Street. Talking to the Bonneter will give Mario this moon.
Power Moon #63 – Powering Up the Power Plant
In the generator room of the Underground Power Plant, there is a large battery that is to be installed to the power plant. The battery can be captured by Mario, and can moved around like the previous puzzle part from the Lake Kingdom. Once the battery is properly installed, the moon appears.
Power Moon #64 – Up on the Big Screen
There is a movie theater on the west side and the north end of Krool Avenue. Inside the projection room, Mario can enter an 8-bit pipe to enter the projection screen, showcasing a remake of World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros. The overworld of the level has five Moon Shards scattered across. Collecting all five shards reveals the moon in the projection room.
Power Moon #65 – Down Inside the Big Screen
Within the projection screen of the movie theater, Mario can enter the fourth pipe of the level to find a hidden underground room with several coins and the moon.
Power Moon #66 – Peach in the Metro Kingdom
Peach and Tiara can be found atop the movie theater building on the west side of the city. Peach offers a moon upon talking to them.
Power Moon #67 – Hanging Between Buildings
Atop the triangular building alongside Rattley Street, Mario can ground pound the red button to reveal a black and white pathway with a time limit to the other triangular building. The moon floats high above the middle of this pathway, so Mario must use a ground pound jump or a somersault to reach it.
Power Moon #68 – Crossing Lines
This moon floats above some coins and an electric wire connected to the theater building and the Rooftop Garden. Mario must capture either spark pylon, ride the wire, then, with the right timing, jump up toward the coins and the moon.
Power Moon #69 – Out of a Crate in the City
The moon is inside a crate on top of the northwest apartment building that leads to the crowded alleyway. When Mario breaks the crate, the moon will land on the Banana Bagels sign. Mario must then dive and cap jump off the water tank to reach this moon.
Power Moon #70 – Bird Traveling in the Park
This bird only flies around Mayor Pauline Commemorative Park. This bird can be best caught via somersault or ground pound jump as it flies over the eastern benches.
Power Moon #71 – Metro Kingdom Timer Challenge 3
There is a scarecrow on the south sidewalk of Dixie Street. When Cappy activates the scarecrow, the moon appears on the square platform in the construction site, with only 10 seconds to grab the moon. Mario can use a motor scooter to reach the moon in time.
Power Moon #72 – Found in the Park! Good Dog!
There is a Nintendog on the northeast corner of Mayor Pauline Commemorative Park. Upon befriending the Nintendog, it will dig around certain spots in the park that Mario can ground pound to reveal coins or the moon, in which the moon is buried in the southeast corner of the park.
Power Moon #73 – RC Car Champ!
Next to the "Remotely Captured Car" moon, you can find a building with the RC Car mini-game. This time, Mario must complete the mini-game race (three laps in under 26 seconds) to receive a moon.
Power Moon #74 – Metro Kingdom Master Cup
Atop an eastern building near the "Free Parking: Leap of Faith" moon, you can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a moon.
Power Moon #75 – Hat-and-Seek: In the Crowd
In the area with the "Pushing Through The Crowd" moon, you must wait for a specific New Donker wearing a Bonneter on his head to come out from among the large crowd and must talk to him to receive the moon.
Power Moon #76 – Scaling Pitchblack Mountain
Near the area that the handbag for the "A Request from the Mayor" moon is found, you can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must climb up a "mountain" of blue platforms in a dark room while avoiding Stairface Ogres and can find the moon at the very top on a column surrounded by spikes.
Power Moon #77 – Reaching Pitchblack Island
In the area with the "Scaling Pitchblack Mountain" moon, you can find a glowing spot located on a small platform separate from the main "mountain". There are Hidden Blocks that Mario can see by throwing Cappy at them, allowing him to safely cross. He must ground pound the glowing spot for the moon to appear.
Power Moon #78 – Swinging Scaffolding: Jump!
On top of one of the buildings south of a triangular building with the ground-pound switch, you can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must make it through a series of obstacles, including Swinging Scaffoldings with Hammer Bros on them.
Power Moon #79 – Swinging Scaffolding: Break!
In the area with the "Swinging Scaffolding: Jump!" moon, Mario should look for an area with a set of breakable blocks on the far left side. To obtain the moon, Mario must capture a Hammer Bro and throw hammers at the blocks to destroy them and reveal the moon.
Power Moon #80 – Motor Scooter Daredevil!
On top of one of the buildings near a spark pylon, you can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must ride a Motor Scooter across many falling blocks as well as hit multiple P Switches to make temporary platforms appear. Many coin rings and Sherms are found along the way.
Power Moon #81 – Full-Throttle Scooting!
Near the end of the area with the "Motor Scooter Daredevil!" moon, Mario must make a sharp right turn onto a series of falling blocks that form a thin staircase-like path. At the end of this path, you can find the moon.

FAQ
How many Power Moons are in Metro Kingdom?
Metro Kingdom has 81 listed Power Moons.
Why is Metro Kingdom hard to complete?
New Donk City has many vertical routes, hidden interiors, rooftop moons, NPC objectives and post-game moons. Work district by district instead of chasing random markers.
Can every Metro Kingdom moon be collected on the first visit?
No. Several moons require story progress, post-game access, Moon Rock unlocks, races, outfit/NPC conditions or later revisit states.
