Cloud Kingdom Power Moon Guide: All 9 Moons
Use the cards below as a checklist. Each moon includes the location, what to do, and one practical route tip so you can finish Nimbus Arena without wandering around the small cloud map.
Picture Match: Basically a Goomba
Enter the pipe in the middle of Nimbus Arena to reach the Picture Match room. Rebuild the Goomba face carefully and aim for at least 60 points. Place the eyes first, then the mouth and eyebrows, because those pieces decide most of the score.
Peach in the Cloud Kingdom
After you have finished the main story and spoken to the Toad outside Peach's Castle, return to Cloud Kingdom. Peach stands on the east side of Nimbus Arena. Talk to her to receive this moon.
Digging in the…Cloud?
After breaking the Cloud Kingdom Moon Rock, go to the south-eastern corner of the arena and look for the slightly raised cloud patch. Stand in the center of the raised spot and ground pound to reveal the moon.
High, High Above the Clouds
Use the Hip Drop Move Lift on the western side of the arena. Ground pound the lift, then cross the hat-cloud platforms while keeping Cappy throws controlled. Do not rush the final gap; wait until the next cloud is lined up before jumping.
Crossing the Cloud Sea
Go to the turret north of the arena where the Moon Rock originally sat. The key is on another turret farther north. Cross the hat-cloud trail to collect the key, then return to the Keyhole Pedestal before the route feels disorienting.
Taking Notes: Up and Down
On the east side of the arena, ground pound the Hip Drop Move Lift to rise up to the treble clef. Collect the notes in height groups by throwing Cappy at the right moment. Focus on one vertical cluster at a time instead of trying to chase every note at once.
Picture Match: A Stellar Goomba!
Return to the Picture Match pipe and replay the Goomba challenge after the harder version is available. This time you need at least 80 points and the outline gives you much less help. Use the outer face shape as your anchor, then place the features symmetrically.
King of the Cube!
Enter the Moon Pipe in the south-western corner of Nimbus Arena. Inside the cube room, collect all five Moon Shards in the 8-bit section. Move slowly around each face of the cube so you do not miss a shard hidden by perspective.
The Sixth Face
In the same cube sub-area as King of the Cube, find the pipe on the bottom face of the cube. Enter it to reach the sixth face, then move around the Fuzzies and grab the moon when the path opens.
