Cap Kingdom Purple Coin FAQ
How many purple coins are in Cap Kingdom?
There are 50 purple regional coins in Cap Kingdom, and each one is shaped like a small top hat.
Why are there no purple coins in Cap Kingdom on my first visit?
They do not appear during the opening visit. Repair the Odyssey in Cascade Kingdom, then return to Bonneton; all 50 regional coins will be available.
Where are the hardest Cap Kingdom purple coins to find?
The easiest clusters to overlook are inside Frog Pond and Top-Hat Tower and along optional side routes such as Push-Block Peril and Skimming the Poison Tide. These coins are away from the open Central Plaza route.
How do I find the last missing purple coins in Cap Kingdom?
Check your counter, then follow the guide one cluster at a time. Regional coins stay collected, and most appear in groups of three to five, so a gap usually means you skipped a complete cluster or sub-area. The Bowser amiibo can also mark regional coins on the map, but it is not required.
What can I buy with all 50 Cap Kingdom purple coins?
At Bonneton’s Crazy Cap shop you can buy the Black Top Hat (5), Black Tuxedo (10), Cap Kingdom Sticker (5), Plush Frog (5), and Bonneton Tower Model (25). Together they cost exactly 50 coins.
Can I use Cap Kingdom purple coins in another kingdom?
No. Regional coins are kingdom-specific, so Cap Kingdom coins can only be spent at Bonneton’s purple Crazy Cap counter.
