Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has 27 treasure hunts in its current checklist: 22 standard coordinate maps, four restored Treasure Dealer maps and the separate Blackbeard’s Treasure quest. This guide gives every map source, buried chest coordinate, nearby landmark and reward without relying on third-party screenshots.

How Many Treasure Maps Are in Black Flag Resynced?
The in-game treasure system combines ordinary corpse and warehouse maps with restored fragments and one story quest.
Recommended Treasure Map Cleanup Route
Collecting maps before sailing to their destinations prevents wasted trips because the game hides the Dig prompt until the clue is in your Codex.
- Pick up maps during the story. Loot cadavers and warehouses whenever you visit a named island or city.
- Build the Treasure Dealer at Great Inagua. Construct the General Store and Tavern first, then pay 5,000 reales for the Dealer.
- Finish the campaign through Sequence 10. This opens Principe, Isla Providencia and Long Bay for standard-map cleanup.
- Clear the northern ten maps. Several clues and chests sit close together around Havana, Nassau, Abaco Island and Salt Lagoon.
- Clear the southern twelve maps. Combine smuggler den visits with Weathered fragments and Ultimate Ship Plans.
- Restore the four solved fragment maps. Preserved, Tattered, Digested and Weathered each lead to legendary or rare gear.
- Finish at Anotto Bay. Complete Blackbeard’s Treasure after Do Not Go Gently and use explosive barrels to open the collapsed cave route.
Coordinates can differ by a few points depending on cursor placement. Treat the landmark description as the final check when the map number is close.
Northern Caribbean Treasure Maps
These ten clues cover the northern half of the Caribbean. The card title is where the map is found; the chest line is where you dig.
1. Great Inagua

- Climb the sloping path above the docks and enter the tunnel overlooking the harbor.
- Dig chest
- Nassau (586, 755), beside a tree past the manor and large rock formation.

2. Mariguana Island

- Enter the vine-covered nook inside the island’s central rock formation.
- Dig chest
- Andreas Island (544, 693), on the tiny landmass with three coconut trees.
Reward: Harpoon Strength Ultimate Plan + 3,000 reales.
3. Salt Lagoon

- Loot the cadaver washed onto the beach.
- Dig chest
- New Bone (407, 94), on the small island with four coconut trees near the Jackdaw dock.
Reward: Maize Deity + 2,500 reales.
4. Nassau Warehouse

- Steal the warehouse key and plunder the warehouse.
- Dig chest

8. Havana Warehouse

- Plunder the warehouse in northwestern Havana.
- Dig chest
- Anotto Bay (590, 245), beside the crates near the cavern’s exit shaft.

9. Cape Bonavista

- Climb through the southeastern village to the tunnel beside the Mayan Stone.

- Search the gravestone in the eastern cemetery.
- Dig chest
- Principe (113, 11), at the fallen tree roots on the southeast edge of the camp during or after Trust Is Earned.

22. Isla Providencia
Map 483, 19- Find map
- From the Jackdaw dock, follow the partly hidden path left through the trees to the skeleton.
- Dig chest
- Long Bay (503, 230), among the trees behind the huts near the northwest Fast Travel point.
Reward: Scottish Broadswords.
Treasure Dealer and Restored Maps
Build the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua after the General Store and Tavern. Restoration costs resources plus 500 reales, and the resulting map must be in your Codex before you can dig.
Preserved Map
- Fragments: four pieces from warehouse robberies, including Havana, Cat Island and Matanzas.
- Restore: 150 tobacco + 500 reales.
- Dig: Sacrifice Island (14, 554), below the two joined rock formations in the north.
- Reward: Shade and Shadow Robes + Wooden Eyeball.
Tattered Map
- Fragments: three pieces from Captain’s Lockboxes after boarding high-level Pirate Hunter frigates or men-of-war.
- Restore: 200 sugar + 500 reales.
- Dig: Florida (381, 803), in front of the lone skeleton beside the shipwreck.
- Reward: Gilt-Lined Sails + Elite Wheel + Sleek Crew Attire.
Digested Map
- Fragments: two pieces from skinning white jaguars; Great Inagua around (825, 439) is a reliable hunting area.
- Restore: 200 rum barrels + 500 reales.
- Dig: Santanillas (188, 215), follow the river tunnel below the central ruins into the side nook.
- Reward: Hunter’s Outfit + Hunter’s Amulet.
Weathered Map
- Fragments: buy one from the Treasure Dealer for 200 spices. Loot the other five from key chests in Petite Caverne, Jiguey, San Juan, Ambergris Key and Anotto Bay.
- Restore: 150 spices + 500 reales.
- Dig: Mystery Island (914, 124), in front of the haystack between two rock formations.
- Reward: Persian Scimitars + Gargoyle’s Breath.
Blackbeard’s Treasure Location
This story quest replaces the old Anotto Bay-to-Principe-style hunt and does not behave like a normal coordinate map.
- Complete Do Not Go Gently. The Blackbeard’s Treasure quest becomes available after this story mission.
- Sail to Anotto Bay (590, 245). Enter the smuggler’s den and follow the cave route.
- Use the explosive barrels. Position and ignite them to destroy the collapsed obstruction blocking the deeper passage.
- Continue to the quest chamber. Interact with the treasure to trigger the unique sequence and complete this 27th hunt.
The Havana Warehouse map also sends you to Anotto Bay for a separate buried chest near the cavern exit. Collect both objectives during the same visit if the quest is already unlocked.

If you are not doing full cleanup yet, prioritize the maps that unlock Jackdaw combat upgrades.

- Fire Barrel Strength Ultimate: Santanillas map to San Juan.
