Chapter 2: Mountaintops Smiley Flowers Guide

Smiley Flower #1 – Taggit

1. Use the Taggit around the waterfall section and send it toward the Flower above the falls.
2. Follow the Taggit after it grabs the Flower so you can collect it when it returns to reachable ground.
3. Do not leave the waterfall area until the Flower has dropped back within reach.

Smiley Flower #2 – Taggit

1. Use a Taggit to pull the Heart Turnip from the ceiling on the upper-right platform.
2. Feed the Heart Turnip to the underground Croakaoke.
3. Enter the tunnel that opens and follow it to the hidden Flower.

Smiley Flower #3 – Taggit

1. Go to the far-right side of the level and board the Red Balloon.
2. Ride it upward until you reach the leaf-covered route on the right.
3. Break through the leaves to reveal and collect the Flower.

Smiley Flower #1 – Milde

1. Break the boxes to the right of the pink pool.
2. Carry one Milde while using another Milde as a bounce point.
3. Reach the dried Flower beside the pool, then pop the Milde into the pool to water it.

Smiley Flower #2 – Milde

1. Climb out of the volcano by bouncing from the mega Milde.
2. Move left onto the sticky pink platform.
3. Use the Mildes as stepping stones until you can reach the Flower.

Smiley Flower #3 – Milde

1. Head to the far-right side of the map.
2. Activate the black pool by popping a Milde onto it.
3. Ground Pound on Mildes to bounce high enough for the upper-right Flower.

Smiley Flower #1 – Peckadee

1. Move to the large nut on the right side of the map.
2. Lure a Peckadee so it gets stuck inside the nut.
3. Ground Pound the stuck Peckadee to crack the nut and reveal the Flower.

Smiley Flower #2 – Peckadee

1. Feed a Chili to a Peckadee.
2. Throw the powered Peckadee at the boulder blocking the upper-left path.
3. Climb into the newly opened upper route to collect the Flower.

Smiley Flower #3 – Peckadee

1. Stand where you can line up an egg with the visible hole.
2. Throw the egg directly into the hole.
3. Wait for the Flower to appear and collect it.

Smiley Flower #4 – Peckadee

1. Return to the upper route used for the second Flower.
2. Use a Peckadee to reach the upper-right ledge.
3. Stop the Peckadee in the wheel, then climb the route it opens to the Flower.

Smiley Flower #1 – Floofly

1. Use the windmill tree propellers to climb upward.
2. Move onto the Floofy clouds above the route.
3. Collect the Flower from the cloud path before dropping down.

Smiley Flower #2 – Floofly

1. After the windmill tree, walk across the three Floofy clouds sitting on the ground.
2. Stay on them long enough to reveal the hidden area.
3. Enter the revealed spot and collect the Flower.

Smiley Flower #3 – Floofly

1. Climb onto the Floofy boat.
2. Pass between the two stalactites while climbing to the top.
3. Grab the Flower from the top route of the boat.

Smiley Flower #4 – Floofly

1. Bring the Rain Floofies across the boat route.
2. Use them to water the dry Flower on the platform before the level end.
3. Collect the Flower once it blooms.

Smiley Flower #5 – Floofly

1. At the end of the Floofy boat, move to the fish-shaped Floofies.
2. Use them as the final stepping point.
3. Flutter Jump from the fish-shaped cloud to reach the Flower.

Smiley Flower #1 – Plumebrella

1. Inside the cave, aim an egg at the upper-right corner.
2. Hit the hidden Winged Cloud that appears.
3. Hit it again to make the Flower drop.

Smiley Flower #2 – Plumebrella

1. Grab the Plumebrella.
2. Float left above the water instead of following the obvious path.
3. Land near the Flower and collect it.

Smiley Flower #3 – Plumebrella

1. Enter the cave below the windmill tree.
2. Eat the Golden Plumebrella and throw the egg to create a small Gold Plumebrella.
3. Float upward and Flutter Jump to reach the Flower.

Smiley Flower #4 – Plumebrella

1. Use the Golden Plumebrella in the upper-right storm-cloud area.
2. Scatter the storm clouds.
3. Collect the Flower that was hidden by the clouds.

Smiley Flower #1 – Thudd

1. Have Thudd spit Yoshi toward the upper-left opening.
2. Land inside the opening instead of falling back down.
3. Collect the Flower on the left side.

Smiley Flower #2 – Thudd

1. Move Thudd toward the rocks in the left corner.
2. Make Thudd spit Yoshi into the rocks repeatedly.
3. Keep breaking the rocks until the Flower appears.

Smiley Flower #3 – Thudd

1. Stand near Thudd and target its belly button.
2. Ground Pound the belly button.
3. Collect the Flower released from Thudd’s mouth.

Smiley Flower #4 – Thudd

1. Use Thudd to suck water from the left pond.
2. Aim the water at the dried Flower near Thudd’s original sleeping spot.
3. Collect the Flower after it blooms.

Smiley Flower #5 – Thudd

1. Return to the area right of Thudd’s first sleeping spot.
2. Check the small nook beside that route.
3. Collect the Flower tucked inside the nook.

Smiley Flower #6 – Thudd

1. Have Thudd suck the right pond dry.
2. Drop into the drained pond and enter the lower-right secret passage.
3. Ground Pound through the route until you reach the underwater Flower.

Smiley Flower #7 – Thudd

1. After freeing Bowser Jr., keep moving right with Thudd.
2. Aim Thudd’s launch toward the upper-right tree branches.
3. Land on the branch route and collect the final Flower.
