Recommended Progression Route

A practical order for moving through a first campaign without trying to solve every branch at once.

Build a balanced party early. Cover dialogue, lockpicking, healing, crowd control and burst damage before pushing deep into Act 1.
Clear local quests before advancing acts. Many quests and companion beats change once you move to a new act, so finish nearby leads before major transitions.
Keep separate saves before major choices. Boss alliances, companion decisions and ending routes can branch heavily.
Upgrade gear and respec when needed. Use stronger items, feats and class changes when a fight starts feeling like a wall rather than a puzzle.
Save alternate outcomes for later runs. A first run is best treated as one story; Dark Urge, Honour Mode, romance variants and opposite-alignment choices can anchor replays.
