9F Museum Gem Locations
The 9F Museum Gems are all found in the Elevator Hall, the foyer you fight the dinosaur skeleton in before heading deeper into the Exhibit Hall. Break the display cases and use the leftover dinosaur bones on the reception desk, the flower-covered safe and the pterodactyl skeleton overhead to clear out every Gem.
White Gem #1 – Southeast Display Case
- In the Elevator Hall, find the display case in the southeast corner, to the right as you step out of the elevator.
- Break the case with a dinosaur bone or the Blue Toad plush from the boss fight to release a crystal ghost.
- Defeat the ghost with the Poltergust to claim the White Gem.
Red Gem #2 – Reception Desk
- Head to the reception desk facing the Elevator Hall doors.
- Blow air at the swivel chair behind the desk with the Poltergust to spin it upside down.
- The desk flips over to reveal a hidden chest; open it to claim the Red Gem.
Blue Gem #3 – Flower Alcove
- Look for the large flowers growing beside the Elevator Hall doors.
- Clear the flowers aside to reveal a blinking green light, then flash the Strobulb at it to reveal a hidden safe.
- Flash the Strobulb at the safe’s light again to open it and claim the Blue Gem.
Green Gem #4 – Pterodactyl Skeleton
- Look up at the pterodactyl skeleton mounted above the Elevator Hall doors.
- Pick up a dinosaur bone from the floor and launch it at the skeleton.
- The skeleton breaks apart and drops the Green Gem for Luigi to grab.
Purple Gem #5 – Southwest Display Case
- Find the display case in the southwest corner of the Elevator Hall.
- Break the case with a dinosaur bone or the Blue Toad plush; one display stand inside sits empty.
- Aim the Dark-Light Device at the empty stand to materialize the Purple Gem.
Yellow Gem #6 – Exhibit Hall Entrance
- Head to the display case beside the curtain leading into the Exhibit Hall.
- Break the case open with a dinosaur bone or the Blue Toad plush.
- Collect the Yellow Gem from inside the broken case.
